St. Als has a funeral Friday afternoon and needs all the folding chairs from the Christmas masses in the Community Room put in storage and the round tables set up.

If you’re in town and can help, we’re meeting at 8:30am.8:00am.

Troop Mtg on Thu Dec 18

Our December troop meeting will take place this Thursday, December 18th at 6:30pm.

Discussion items include:

1. Ross Lodge Sledding/Overnight Event 1/9/15 – parent volunteer(s) needed to help coordinate
2. Service Project(s) – Food Pantry Ramp plus a possible 2015 PLC driven initiative
3. Updates on Adventure Rock and Eagle Cave reservations for 1st quarter 2015

St. Nick’s Set Up on Sat Dec 6

Hi everyone;
as per our calendar, this weekend is the St. Nick’s Pancake breakfast on Sunday morning. Our troop historically helps set up the tables and chairs on Saturday night after the 4pm Mass. Sometimes there is an “event” after the set-up (game night, bowling, pizza, whatever), but at this time there isn’t one planned. Anyways, please leave room on your calendar to help with the set-up if at all possible (often past scouts, and families come and help as well – so it can be a lot of fun). The set-up will begin immediately after 4pm Mass in Spangler Hall. It usually takes about an hour depending upon the number of volunteers. Families are welcome and encouraged to attend. Often the scouts sit together at Mass – not mandatory, but often fun.

If any senior scout(s) or parents are interested in putting together an activity after the set-up, please feel free to do so. I would be more than happy to send out emails. . . .
